About Wildmind Communications
A few years ago I was downsized from my job. They said times were tough. What a way to begin the year!
Actually, I was about to discover that my life was in the throes of a huge and major disconnect. The rest of that year
presented a series of major losses: the death of my mother and her first cousin within a three-week period; betrayal
by a trusted friend; and the serious illness of a close family member.
I alternated between fury, sadness and confusion. Eventually, after much introspection, I came to that place of quiet
acceptance and receptivity that some Buddhists call “wildmind.” That place beneath the wild mind — the turbulence and
noise, or “monkey chatter” — where calm, creativity and connection reign.
Slowly, I realized that I could choose to stay stuck or successfully reinvent myself by drawing on my 20 plus years
of communications expertise. So, I integrated my loves: editing, writing, and championing others in their quest for
birthing their best selves in the public and private spheres of their lives. Enter, Wildmind Communications!
